Derek Dooley’s 2012 class got a valuable addition Thursday night. Four-star defensive tackle Danny O’Brien of Flint, Michigan chose the Vols over the Wolverines yesterday.
Tennessee was considered to be in the driver’s seat for a long time for O’Brien’s services, but the Wolverine’s dramatic comeback win over Notre Dame caused some people (probably people who don’t matter) to wonder if Michigan was gaining ground. O’Brien will be the second Michigan native on the Volunteer roster joining D’Anthony Arnett of Saginaw.
