Wes Rucker of GVX247 is reporting that Da’Rick Rogers is not suspended, but he is also not on the active roster. I am not sure what the difference is between those two distinctions. It seems like a suspension.

Barney Yes, and I hope favorably for his sake and ours. One of my son in laws is a die hard Georgia fan, originally from Calhoun, Ga. He even saw Da'rick play in high school many times. I wanted to tell him he could have him back, but considering how mad he got two years ago, decided not to. And he's a very mild mannered, great son in law, but like us, he takes his Dawgs seriously, even though he graduated from Lee here in Cleveland.

What I am hearing right now is that Rogers had a bad relationship with some of the seniors on this team. Looks like his dislike may have been justified but he was over the top about it. Coaches met with him today and told him that he wouldn't be participating in team activities until he gets his act together (his class attendance is apparently a bit spotty as well) and learns to be a better teammate. He will be able to earn his way back. This looks to be a similar situation to what happened with Janzen last year...just not as extreme.
